Fried Rice

This is a recipe Elli invented herself. Amanda approves and often request it for chicken dinners. Its so simple anyone could do it! And it is one of the first things Elli likes to share with newbies who are afraid of cooking! Its so good, and it seems to give them confidence.

It can be made parve or meat! You choose!

All You Need:
Onion
Garlic
Bag of frozen stir fry veggies
Soy sauce
Day old Rice or Qunioa
Chicken or Tofu
A Large Egg
Salt and Pepper
Optional ingredients:
Sesame Oil
Soyaki
Sweet Chili Sauce
Scallions
Cilantro
How to:
1. Chop that onion/garlic
2. Cut up your chicken or tofu into bite size pieces
3. Saute your oninon till translusent
4. Add garlic and cook until fragrent
5. Add chicken and cook through
6. Add soy sauce and other desired sauces from the optional list
7. Throw in the frozen veggies and cook till defrosted
8. Add rice/quinoa and any needed sauce
9. Crack egg and mix into the pan
10. Serve after egg is fully cooked!!
11. Garnish with scallions or cilantro if desired
